Iranian silver art
Ehtemam Handicrafts is a renowned name in Iranian silver art, proudly preserving and advancing the ancient tradition of silver engraving (qalamzani) for over a century.
The late Mohammad Hasan Ehtemam, titled Haji Mohammad Zargar, founded this artistic legacy in 1260 Solar Hijri (1881–1882) by establishing a workshop on Chaharagh Abbasi Street in Isfahan. His exceptional skill and dedication laid the foundation for what has become one of Iran’s most respected silver art houses.
This heritage has been faithfully continued through the generations. His sons, including the late Hossein Ehtemam — a world-renowned master of the craft — and Mahmood Ehtemam, who continues to follow in his father’s footsteps, have upheld the family’s commitment to excellence.
At Ehtemam Handicrafts, every piece is created with the utmost care, precision, and respect for traditional techniques. Using only the finest materials and original designs, we strive to produce works of enduring beauty and cultural significance. It is our hope that, like our ancestors before us, we continue to earn your trust and satisfaction with each masterpiece.
